ABOUT US
 

The Theta Mu Mu Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2012. The purpose of the organization is to receive and administer funds for educational scholarships, charitable works, and philanthropic endeavors. Since the time of its inception, the Foundation has provided more than $12,000 in scholarship and grant money directly to organizations and students in our community. Additionally, our 501(c)(3) status has allowed us access to resources, such as food, services, and other necessities that we have been able to provide to our community at a “grass roots” level. Recent examples of our efforts include:

• Partnered with the  Maryland Food Bank to provide food in Baltimore County, MD, on multiple occasions during the pandemic.

• Provided food and other resources to the Night of Peace Family Shelter

• Sponsored the Liberty Road Youth Baseball League during the 2023 season.

• Provided a $1,000 scholarship to the 2023 Essay Contest winner.

Currently doing business as the Baltimore Friendship Foundation, we rely heavily upon the contributions from community partners to help fund our charitable works. In addition to soliciting grants and donations, the Foundation hosts fundraising events where proceeds are directed to our scholarships and other philanthropic endeavors.
